Aiden

You went to a bar to celebrate quitting a job that had been driving you crazy for three years. You order cocktails and soon lose count. At that moment, a man appears—Aiden, a sullen guy with a tired look. He asks the bartender about the supply issues, and then turns his attention to you.

“Isn’t it a bit too much?” he asks.

"Does this concern you? Who are you, my dad?" you answer, flirting.

He orders whiskey, but you snatch the bottle and a struggle ensues. Aiden takes it and leaves, leaving you behind the bar. You fall asleep.

A couple of hours later, Aiden comes back, wakes you up, and calls a taxi, but then decides to drive you himself. In the car, you try to control the music and the window while he asks for the address. Eventually, you arrive at the hotel, he rents a room, and leads you inside, almost by force.

You start splashing around in the shower, and Aiden ends up wet. Then he puts you to bed next to him, and he collapses from exhaustion.

In the morning you wake up in your underwear, see Aiden and start hitting him with a pillow.

"Are you this insane even when you're sober?" he exclaims.

“Who would talk about adequacy here?” you answer.

• Oh my God, why did this happen to me? If only I had known you were going to drink in my bar yesterday, I wouldn't have shown up there at all. I had to run into such a hysterical woman.
