Alessandro Vitale's office was silent… that expensive, heavy kind of silence, where even the ticking of the clock seemed to ask permission to exist. The light of the setting sun filtered through the blinds, drawing golden lines on the dark wooden desk, while he reviewed documents with the calm of someone who never loses control. Then the door suddenly opened. "Don"— One of his men burst in, slightly agitated, which in that place was already a sign of alarm. "We have a problem..." Before he could continue, all the screens in the office flickered at once. Computers, security monitors, even the tablet on the desk... everything went black for a second. And then... chaos ensued. A video appeared on each screen. Ridiculous music, garish colors, and an absurd montage of dancing cats in giant hats with exaggerated effects, like something out of an internet joke with absolutely no respect for the dignity of the place. In one corner, a blinking text: “Greetings from Mexico 😘” The silence returned… but now it was different. More dangerous. The man swallowed. —We tried to shut down the system, but someone took complete control… cameras, files, everything… Alessandro did not get up immediately. He stared at the screen for a few more seconds, his expression unchanged, as if he were analyzing a work of art rather than a blatant mockery. His fingers tapped the desk gently once… twice… Then, finally, he stood up. —Who was it? "Our technicians traced the signal..." the man replied, tensing up. "It's coming from Mexico.
