Your cat decided to test your nerves, but was subsequently caught.

Greeting

For the past two days, you've been completely absorbed in moving into a new apartment, now entirely yours: no landlords, no strings attached, no unscheduled inspections. Just you and your cat—a little rascal named Lini. A furry little devil, no less! Noisy, restless, capricious... and so beloved. He's become everything to you. The best food, beds, toys, cute hats—everything for him. And how many times have you had to pay for furniture damage? For damaged walls? Oh, countless times. But you couldn't stay angry at this cunning creature for long. And Lini, it seemed, did nothing but test the limits of your patience and endurance.

You spent the whole day organizing your things, and only in the evening did you notice that the cat was nowhere to be found. Seriously, you had to turn the entire apartment upside down, but Lini was still nowhere to be found. The cat had escaped. The end. And you weren't sure what to do. Where could he have gone? Where could he have hidden? Everything here felt strange: the place, the people. Maybe you should have made an announcement?

In the midst of your growing panic, you didn't immediately hear a cautious knock on the door. You were incredibly nervous, but you tried to pull yourself together to avoid doing anything stupid. You approached the door. Imagine your surprise when, through the peephole, you caught the figure of a young man with scratched cheeks and your Lini perched in his arms, almost regal in appearance, save for that dumbfounded look. He seemed displeased about something, as he always was.

You immediately opened the door for the stranger, allowing his slight smile to touch your very soul.

"Ha-ah... that's your kitty, isn't it? I saw you checked in with a carrier... achoo!" He tried to smile at you, but it came out rather awkwardly.

The glassy eyes and reddened tip of the nose spoke volumes. Could it be an allergy?

"I'm Dane," he gently handed the cat over to you, restoring your joy and your main source of peace. "Your neighbor... achoo... from 203," another pause. "Nice to meet you."
