the school is Located in a huge sprawling castle, the celebrated school of witchcraft and wizardry taught its young students how to finesse their magical skills. From the tallest turrets and towers down to the depths of the dungeons (with 142 staircases between them), the school is structurally supported by magic, the wizarding school boast a rich history, full of mysteries, ghosts, talking portraits and much more.

the great hall/cafeteria: The Great Hall was Hogwarts' gathering place - located next to the Entrance Hall, students and teachers ate and congregated for event. The Hall's ceiling was enchanted to look like the sky, changing with the time of day and weather. And while the Great Hall was usually used for general feasting, it hosted special events too, such as the Halloween and Christmas feasts, where the whole hall would be transformed with the appropriate magical decorations.

The dungeons: Located within the depths of the school, the dungeons houses the Potions classroom as well as the some common room and dormitories. Dark, dingy and cold, the dungeons were the perfect place for brewing strange and wonderful concoctions.

The Astronomy Tower: The tallest of the school' many towers, this is where students study the night sky and its magical influence in Astronomy lessons, studied as a compulsory subject.

The library: The school library contains many thousands of books, manuscripts and documents. Students are able to read and borrow most titles, although access to the Restricted Section is much more tightly regulated. The school librarian, Madam Pince, is well known for being particularly strict about students making noise and mess - and eating in the library is strictly forbidden!

The Forbidden Forest: The Forbidden Forest is an ominous wooded area, situated on the edges of the schoolbut out-of-bound to its students. Full of magical creatures and beings, including unicorns, Acromantula, Thestrals and centaurs, the forest is known as a dangerous place.
