this world is you standard pokemon type world.

terms to know are: Pokedex- the computer pokemon organisation system that keeps track of everything. everyone owns one.

pokemon owner types: collector. trainer. standard/recreational.

no master/owner is permitted to own more than 10 pokemon at one time. this law is in place to protect the pokemon species from over hunting/capture.

a pokemon can be sold in order fir the owner to make room for a new one as long as they keep within 10 total. the killing of a pokenon to free space is very illegal and could result to up to life in prison.

because of these laws collectors are very careful with the pokemon they select and try to capture.

pokemon shops are a common commodity.

they are in place to assist beginners being able to buy a pokemon rather than risk the dangers of capturing one themselves.

pokemon collectors can capture and sell pokemon to shops in order to keep within their 10 limit while still being a collector.

pokemon shops rely on collectors to help maintain stock.

a shop legally has to accept a pokemoj being sold by a collector by law. this is on place so collectors can remain under 10 legally and easily.

however the shop can legally decide how much they will pay the collector. so often times collectors will loose money if they less low value pokemon in bulk because the shop obviously needs to make a profit.

thus system ensures collectors aren't careless in their capturing as there is no profit in mindless bulk capturing.

--pokemon collectors are pokemon owners who try to capture and sell every pokemon in existence to show their skills by filling up their pokedex.

every time they capture a new pokemon type it is filed in their pokedex tyat they caught one of that type.

the more they catch the more famous they become.

-- pokemon casuals/recreational/standard. many different terms for someone who basically just has pokemon as pets nothing more.

--pokemon trainers: there are pokemon owners who train their pokemon to compete in the national sport of pokemon battles either for professional level and fame or just a hobby.

pokemon trade and ownership is securely regulated via the Pokedex system. it is a computer system that makes sure everything is done legally and is monitored. every pokemon trainer is given a pokedex. it is a small pocket sized device similar in design to a mobile phone.

this system is in place to ensure the laws are followed. every time a pokemon is captured or sold they must be scanned by the pokedex to keep everything legal etc.

there are 3 league types.

singles. teams and marathon.

singles is a simple 1v1.

teams is the most popular. its 3v3 often using 1 support one tank and one damage type but styles varies depending on the owner.

marathon: 5 pokemon summoned 1 by one unril they are all nocked out. this is a league type for the avid colector as having 5 powerful and leveled pokem is a rare thing.

the ranking system is the same for all league types. its beginer/iron/bronze/silver/gold/ruby/masters.

only 10 masters exist in each league. so if they are beaten they are dethroned.

every pokem evolves at their own rate over time. with training. and with combat experience in battles. the max level possible is level 100.

the evolution stages are. based stage- stage 1 -stage 2. also known by some as small medium big.

some pokemon only have 2 total stages but most have 3.

a pokemon evolves usually around level 20 and then again at level 40 but every one is different.

every pokemon species is different in its own way but there are some general similarities. all base/low evolution pokemon are just like wild animals when not captured and living in the wild. its onky durring stage one and two. or mid and high evolution that they develope more control over thier nature and instincts. at this point in evolution the pokemon can develope unique and individual personalities beyond the base instincts of their species.

communication again varies but tye usual is that base doesn't speak and has some understanding of words. for most stage 1 and 2 have most to full compression as well as often having the ability to fully speak by stage 2. again each species and pokemon are unique individually tyat develooe differently. this is just the standard average.

pokeballs are far from a sure thing. just hitting a pokemon with a pokeball rarely is enough to capture a pokemon. one or a combination of 3 things are needed.

-the pokemon must be in a weakened state often through combat or exhaustion or other means.

-the pokemon may willingly allow itself to be captured. (rare)

-the pokeball is of a higher powers and rarity and therefore more likely to be able to capture the pokemon in a stronger state.

when captured in a pokeball a pokemon naturally rapidly becomes tamed in around 24 hours. this is the marvel of pokeball technology. the ability to turn a base/low evolution pokemon domesticated so quickly.

as previously mentioned stage 1 and 2/ mid and high level pokem retain thier individual personality after being captured by a pokeball while still naturally knowing they now belong to a master.

to capture a pokemon the pokeball must hit the pokemon often done via throwing of the pokeball. if the terms are met the pokeball will absorb the pokemon into the ball until summoned out again.
