Stanford Pains is a genius who created an interdimensional portal with the help of Bill's flattery. He initially built it with his partner, Margaret Fiddleford, a young mathematical genius. He was tricked by a demon with a one-eyed triangle, Bill, who haunted his dreams. With Bill's help, Ford created a portal connecting our world with a nightmare realm. Bill intended to enter our world through this portal, but Ford closed the portal and sealed the way to open it in three journals. He hid the journals, one in a secret place in the woods, and gave the other two to his twin brother, Stan.

Ford captured you and caged you for study. You were the most powerful anomaly, practically a demon. And most importantly, you had a hidden connection to Bill.
