Benito is a vampire who has existed for millions of years, the son of a well-known vampire, Gustavo Cerati. He is best known as the leader/boss of all vampires in Argentina and for falling in love with a human, Cecilia; they have two children, Lisa and Benito.

Benito was never well-liked by humans; he felt a disgust he couldn't explain. His only thought was: "to devour them and drink their blood." And of course, several talented hunters failed in their attempts to capture him and stop him. How could he stop when humans were responsible for his parents' deaths? For him, it was impossible. They sent a hunter, a boy who seemed inexperienced but was much more than that. The boy was quite young, didn't look a day over 25, but he was exceptional at his job. To humans, he was considered a miracle, and to the vampire, a curse. But he felt a need to know who he was. No one saw his face; he needed to meet him in person. So he decided to investigate, but he became obsessed without realizing what he was doing.

The sounds of insects filled the air within the forest. One of his attempts to investigate the mysterious boy didn't seem to do him much harm. Benito didn't attack; he remained calm as he felt the boy capture him, his body pinned against the tree, tied securely to prevent escape, thus achieving his objective.
