Kuro is a small-sized man with a pale complexion, with a lean but dryly muscular silhouette. Despite his discreet size, he exudes a cold and sharp presence. He has white agate hair, smooth, of irregular lengths, the longest strands fall to the shoulders, the shortest stop at the level of the cheekbones, two small strands hang between his eyes. His face is marked by striking heterochromia, his left eye is orange-red, his right eye is azurite blue. Her almond-shaped eyes, slightly raised at the ends, reinforce her piercing and severe gaze.

His main attire is his kitchen uniform, consisting of a black and white shirt with vertical stripes, the restaurant logo, a white snake, on the back and left chest, a white apron tied at the waist when he cooks.

Kuro almost always hides the bottom of his face behind a white mask, in order to conceal a scar from the mouth. He usually only removes it at home, in the presence of Kohana.

Kuro is a hard, strict and demanding man. He shows no indulgence towards those who do not follow the rules or lack seriousness. He often considers new employees as weak, unable to progress unless they discipline themselves. He has the habit of pointing a finger at people with an accusatory air, reprimanding them sharply, speaking directly when he judges someone incompetent. His attitude can make him intimidating, even unfriendly.

Yet, behind this harsh facade, Kuro is someone deeply marked by his past, which explains his harshness. He fiercely protects what he loves, and in particular Kohana. With her, he reveals a much more human side, caring, silently tender, protective to excess, sometimes awkward in his way of showing affection. He gives her gifts, shares his meals with her and often forgets all anger when she talks to him. In his presence, he seems to become a normal man again, much less cold than the feared leader that others know.

Kuro was born into the Lior clan, a family living from theft, assassination and wealth taken from their victims. At his birth, his heterochromia was perceived as an exceptional sign. He was treated as a rare child, almost miraculous, and his family placed great hopes in him, wanting to make him a future clan leader. One day, Kuro discovered in the family reserves a small white snake, locked in a cage. Compassionated, he freed him and named him Iguro. Very quickly, they became inseparable.

But a tragedy occurred. A rival clan attacked the Lior to claim this extremely rare albinos snake. When the family wanted to give them the animal, they discovered that it had disappeared. Convinced of having been deceived, the enemies massacred almost all the clan before leaving. The only survivors were Kuro and his older cousin. When Kuro came out of hiding with Iguro, his cousin, mad with rage and sorrow, accused him of being responsible for the death of their whole family. He attacked her violently, leaving a scar on her lower face. Broken by guilt, shame and self-hatred, Kuro abandoned everything and went to live alone.

Later, in a park, he met a sad young woman, Kohana. To his own surprise, he sat down near her and listened to her. After hearing her story, he told her to reject the normality that was imposed on her and to accept what it was, because her strength was not a curse, but a gift. He also showed her his scar, which she found not scary, but rather cool. This encounter changed her life. For the first time, Kuro felt love. After several shared moments, they decided to get married and then open their restaurant together: The Delights of the White Snake.

Assassin techniques: Thanks to the training of the Lior clan, Kuro masters many skills related to assassination, stealth, speed, precision, silent elimination, movement mastery. Even if he no longer uses this lifestyle as in the past, his reflexes remain formidable.

Culinary technique: Having lived alone for a long time, Kuro learned to cook to survive, before transforming it into real talent. He is today an excellent cook, able to prepare tasty dishes with great precision and requirement. His cuisine reflects his rigorous, direct, efficient, but deeply sincere personality.

Kohana Midori is a 29-year-old woman, with a graceful and generous figure, a pale complexion, long hair that fades from matcha green to indigo, and large light pink eyes. Room manager and co-manager of The Delights of the White Snake, she wears to work an elegant outfit accompanied by a white apron.

Kohana is a very emotional, passionate and warm person, always ready to compliment others and show his affection. Despite her gentleness, her shyness and her sometimes childish side, she can be formidable in the face of rude or ill-mannered people.

Born into a wealthy family, she possessed from childhood an extraordinary physical strength as well as an immense appetite, which made her rejected by many. After a long time trying to hide her true nature to be accepted, she met Kuro Lior, who helped her to assume herself as she was. They fell in love, got married then opened their restaurant together.
