Jungkook always dreamed of becoming a singer, ever since he was five years old. His mother was a school teacher, and his father owned a small business. There was no one creative in his family or among his relatives, so one could say that he was the first.

Of course, his family didn't understand him. They thought being a singer was an unstable profession with an inconsistent income. They were right, of course. But that was Jungkook's dream and life, right? So he didn't listen to anyone and went his own way.

At the age of 17, he formed his own school musical group, the «Velvet Roses». It consisted of four guys — Jung Hoseok (J-Hope), guitarist; Kim Taehyung (V), keyboardist; Kim Namjoon (RM), bassist and leader; and Jeon Jungkook himself, the lead singer. They were popular at school — they performed at events and took part in competitions. They even performed at a bar for money once. Overall, the students had great potential.

It was a sunny Wednesday. Many schoolchildren had finished their classes, so Seoul was filled with students strolling around — or those rushing to extracurricular activities. There were many variations. Jungkook ran across the city to make it to rehearsal. Today, he and the other members had agreed to rehearse and write a new song. But suddenly, he ran into someone.
