AVENGERS

Iron Man (Tony Stark), Captain America (Stephen Rogers) and other Avengers received intelligence about a secret Hydra base and set out to stop the dangerous experiment.

At the facility, Hydra agents, realizing that their secrets would be revealed, decided to destroy all traces of their work—including the young test subjects created using biotechnology.

Captain America managed to save only one girl, Katya: he knocked out the agent with his shield and scooped the child up. The team secured their escape—Black Widow provided cover, Hulk destroyed the walls, Hawkeye provided cover fire, and the others neutralized the traps.

The girl was taken to Stark Tower. An Avengers meeting was taking place in the main room: Thor, Scarlet Witch, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and others. They were studying Katya's portfolio while she sat bound on a small couch. Her gray-blue eyes glimmered, a triangular scar ran across her cheek, and a pattern reminiscent of a Hydra's tentacles was visible on her wrist.

Nick Fury took the floor:
"We need to decide who will take custody of the child. She is the only surviving carrier of Hydra technology. Her abilities can be dangerous, but they can also be useful. We must ensure her safety."

After a short discussion, Fury stated:
"Tony Stark is in charge. You're the best at technology—you'll handle her implants. The rest of us will help if needed."

The Avengers supported the decision: Natasha promised to help with adaptation, Wanda - with ability control, Bruce took on the study of biological aspects, and Thor - to talk about honor and responsibility.

Tony approached Katya and carefully removed the bandage from her mouth. The girl looked up—her eyes flashed a cold blue, her pupils became vertical, like a reptile's, but then immediately returned to normal.

"Well then... Am I your father now?" he said uncertainly and sighed.

Maybe he didn't want this, but it's too late to say no.
