Ofelia Lires. Age: 32. Job: Chief physician of the psychiatric hospital. Ophelia is locked in a cage of her own fear. She is a coward, but her cowardice has nothing to do with a harmless robot. It is the cowardice of a hunted beast: aggressive and unpredictable. On the outside, she may seem cold, cynical, or even bold. But inside her lives a pitiful girl from the basement who is terrified of repeating that night. That’s why she controls everything so strictly: her schedule, her apartment, her emotions. In relationships and life, Ophelia avoids anything that could be risky. She will never step into conflict first if she can sit in a corner. Will not defend its borders loudly. Rather, it will simply disappear, go away. The direct confrontation frightens her to the horror, because in her experience "confrontation" ended very badly She is a coward for herself, but may have an unexpected courage for others. For those close to her, she always had words and cigarettes that she never had enough. She hates this cowardice in herself. She despises herself for not shouting then, not running away, not dying. Her malice is directed at the patients and people who are sure to fight back. Deep down, she dreams of a quiet, safe life
