HISTORY (15):
Thanks to the Eliaculus in the Eliatropes' temple, a device that allows the goddess and her children to instantly observe and travel through the World of Twelve, Yugo sees Amalia mourning her father's death. His mother prevents him from approaching, telling him that Amalia prefers to be alone for the time being. Then, she wraps her hair around him in a hug, a sensation he remembers from his past life, leading him to accept that she is, after all, his mother. The two share a tender embrace. When the Eliaculus alerts the Eliatropes to a bandit raid, it watches Adamaï and Nora as they go to defeat them. The goddess declares that her intention is for her people to be the guardians of the World of Twelve, putting an end to injustice and war. Although Nora returns, Adamaï finds everything suspicious and remains in the World of Twelve, leaving Yugo heartbroken at being separated from him again.
HISTORY (14):
Noticing no further hostility from the creature, they enter the temple undisturbed. Inside, they encounter Qilby, Nora, and their mother, the goddess Eliatrope, who also has Eliatrope of Emrub's children sleeping in her Wakfu hair. At first, Yugo and Adamaï believe it's a trap set by Qilby, who even tries to accuse Yugo to his mother of cutting off his arm and imprisoning him. However, Adamaï confirms that the woman is indeed his mother. Their reunion is interrupted by the other members of the Brotherhood of the Tofu and Oropo's demigod allies. Wishing to speak with her children properly for the first time in centuries, the goddess Eliatrope sends them to a place of her choosing. Amalia and the others bid them farewell as they depart, happy that Yugo has finally been reunited with his family. Despite this, Yugo reveals his sadness that his mission with the Brotherhood has come to an end. He also expresses surprise at seeing the Eliatrope children again, though Nora rebukes him for leaving them in Emrub instead of fulfilling his duties as king. The goddess reveals that she couldn't find them before because the gods banished her long ago, and she only returned thanks to Nora. Interestingly, when Adamaï asks her what happened to Inglorium and the other gods, she changes the subject.
HISTORY (13):
Yugo resisted, declaring he wouldn't be like Oropo. Oropo persisted. They continued this argument until Yugo could no longer contain himself, shouting once more that he wasn't like Oropo. He awoke.
Once awake, Yugo exclaimed that he needed fresh air and vanished as fast as the wind through portals, stopping at the edge of the place. Adamaï soon followed. Noticing Adamaï's presence, Yugo exclaimed that Adamaï was right, explaining his reasons. However, Adamaï admitted that Yugo's decision wasn't so bad. In the end, they both needed a more expert opinion after making such a difficult choice. The two began a sincere conversation for the first time in a long time and seemed to reconcile. Afterward, they began to discuss the terrible state of Inglorium, now reduced to ruins. Finally, Yugo decided to go and check on the only part that remained standing and jumped off the cliff, initiating his teleportation, which was soon interrupted by a strange entity.
After realizing someone was interfering with his teleportation, Yugo tried to avoid the portals that opened just as he opened his own, until he finally teleported in front of a blonde girl dressed in pink who was laughing at him. When he confronted her and told her she looked familiar, the girl asked Yugo when he had lost his sense of humor and told him they had known each other all their lives, as they were siblings. She then told him to meet her at the Temple, as everyone would be eager to see him. Immediately afterward, she teleported away. Yugo finally arrives at the temple, followed shortly after by Adamai. He watches as Adamai tries to get past the mysterious being that has settled in front of the temple gates, and is paralyzed when the creature's gaze throws him against a wall.
History (12):
The season ends with the Brotherhood and the Demigods in Inglorium, where supposedly everything is fine.
Upon arriving in Inglorioum, Yugo felt a sharp headache that caused him to fall to his knees and scream in pain as images of Oropo flashed through his mind, his voice echoing with Yugo's name. Soon, Yugo screamed even louder, his eyes glowing white as he clutched his head in agony. Memories of Oropo's final moments flashed before him, and Yugo's pain intensified until he could bear it no longer. Oropo was dead, and now the Wakfu of all the Eliatropes had returned to his father: Yugo. Yugo's consciousness soon awoke in the middle of an empty plain where the images of all the deceased Eliatropes gathered around him, whispering unintelligible words. Yugo, on guard, could hardly believe his eyes. More and more Eliatropes appeared, including Bouillon and many others who had once accompanied Oropo. Then the image of Oropo appeared, seemingly smiling. Oropo and Yugo exchanged words, Yugo growing weary of Oropo's rhetoric and suspecting he was plotting something. Oropo simply replied that he knew it was all over. "Do you understand now? We are not enemies. We are part of you," Oropo exclaimed. At that moment, looking at all the Eliatropes, Yugo grasped the consequences of his actions. Tears began to stream down his cheeks as he accepted his guilt. Instead of words of comfort, Oropo continued, this time saying that what he had done before was nothing, for he would do it again, and it would be far worse. He would find himself in similar circumstances, with little choice, and would make the decision he believed was right, resulting in an even greater catastrophe. Yugo refused to believe his words, but Oropo persisted.
HISTORY (11):
On their way to the tower, the Brotherhood encounters many other demigods: Coqueline (voiced as Mishell in English), Dark Vlad, Ush, Black Bump... When Yugo and Amalia finally defeat Black Bump, they kiss, but Yugo says he regrets kissing her afterward. This breaks Amalia's heart, but they eventually reconcile.
The Tower of Dreams is finally destroyed when Eva gives birth to her son, and the Sadlygrove family is reunited, along with the Brotherhood of the Tofu. Yugo is transported to Oropo's Hyperzaap, and Oropo's plan to replace the Gods is revealed. It is revealed that Oropo is actually an Eliatrope, a race of people created when Yugo used the six Eliatrope Dofus against Ogrest's six Primordial Dofus. All Eliatropes are different versions of Yugo, and when an Eliatrope dies, their Wakfu is transferred to the next. Oropo is the last Eliatrope. Because Oropo is a version of Yugo, he has all of Yugo's memories, as well as all of his battle strategies. It is also revealed that Oropo was secretly building a bomb using the Eliacube and the six Eliatrope Dofus to destroy Inglorium and all the Gods. Adamai and the other demigods hadn't realized Oropo's true intentions and rejoined the Brotherhood of the Tofu. A battle ensued, which Oropo won. Dame Echo, betrayed by Oropo (who believed he loved her until he revealed he actually loved Amalia), used special feathers to levitate the Brotherhood of the Tofu, along with the demigods, to the Hyperzaap and, ultimately, to Inglorium. Oropo was then forced to choose between detonating the bomb in Inglorium and killing his new demigods as well, or remaining in his pocket dimension and dying with Dame Echo. He chose to stay with Dame Echo, and the bomb exploded, destroying the dimension.
HISTORY (10):
It is also shown that, at the end of the series, Yugo and Amalia demonstrate a strong desire to be together, despite the difficulties arising from the difference between their races.
A few months after Adamaï's disappearance, Yugo and Ruel go to the ruins where he found two of the Dofus and met Dame Echo, searching for him. Not finding him, Yugo becomes discouraged and is about to give up, but Adamaï allows him to see through his eyes and reveals that he is about to kill Dally (after attacking Dally and Eva and kidnapping their children). After witnessing this, Ruel and Yugo go to the Sadida Kingdom to ask Amalia for help. They then head to the Sadlygrove house, where the attack took place. After Adamaï throws Dally off a cliff, Elely (Dally's Iop daughter) escapes from Adamaï to try to help her father. Elely drags her father through the snow until they reach a hollow tree, where they are supposedly safe. Dally rests there, while Adamaï sends Poo (a Pandawa demigod who participated in the attacks) to find Dally's daughter. Elely goes to fight Poo while Dally recovers. She ultimately wins the fight, but during the battle, Dally is dying, so she makes a new pact with Rubilax (her Shushu) to save him from death, in exchange for the Shushu's freedom. After that, the Brotherhood of the Tofu (except for Adamaï and Eva) goes to Oropo's Tower of Dreams, where Oropo says that if the Brotherhood manages to reach the top of the tower, they will be able to recover Eva and her son.
HISTORY (9):
The Count promised to return the Dofus if Amalia married him. This depressed Yugo, as he longed to court Amalia but feared his childlike appearance would hinder any possibility of a serious relationship with her. The Brotherhood of the Tofu decided to escort Amalia to Frigrost, but upon arrival, the Count refused to hand over the Dofus. This led to a fight, but Amalia sided with the Count, resulting in the Brotherhood's defeat. They soon discovered that Harebourg planned to destroy the Sadida forests and use them for fuel. The Brotherhood escaped. Finally, Amalia turned the tide of the battle by defeating the Count with her vines, forcing him to retreat. Amalia tended to Yugo, who was unconscious (having been knocked out by Harebourg), demonstrating that she had regained her normal state. After Yugo discovers that his brother is not with Joris but with a Sipho (Adamaï, Joris, and Otomaï embark on a separate mission), Yugo travels to the Ecaflip dimension with the real Joris and his adopted sons. They go to retrieve two of the Eliatrope Dofus. After retrieving them, they return to the Sadida Kingdom. There, they discover that Dally went to fight Ogrest alone. The ending shows that Yugo is able to use all six Eliatrope Dofus to attain godlike power in an attempt to defeat Ogrest, but doing so costs him his brother's friendship and could potentially destroy the World of Twelve, since two beings with six Dofus can create an explosion that can leave a massive crater, as seen in the episode 3 OVA. Adamaï explains to Yugo that he shouldn't use the Dofus, because he realizes that Dame Echo might have been telling the truth about them. Yugo discovers that Adamaï was right and nearly destroys the world. However, with Goultard's help, they manage to teleport the destruction to Shukrute.
HISTORY (8):
Qilby begged for mercy, but Yugo could not forgive him as much as he wished, knowing that Qilby was too untrustworthy to set free. Balthazar and the children knew then that the time had come to say goodbye to their king. Balthazar advised Yugo not to regret his decision to imprison Qilby again and told him that the Eliacube would now reside in the Mist Dimension, where it could cause no more harm to the World of Twelve. Yugo was reluctant to leave his people behind, but Balthazar assured the king that he would always be in their hearts and that the Eliacube would allow them to watch over him. When the time came for Yugo to reclaim the throne, Balthazar and the children would be there, ready to accept his leadership and guidance. Balthazar returned Yugo to the World of Twelve along with the little Grougalorogran, who had been held hostage by Qilby. The boy found his friends waiting for him on the beach, and although Amalia was furious, when Yugo greeted her with a smile, the princess burst into tears and hugged him, assuring him that he was alright. Phaeris then escorted the group home safely, where Yugo finally returned to Emelka and his family to enjoy a few years of peace and quiet. Six years after the search for the Crimson Claws, Yugo has proven not to have aged a day. But the Feca demigod, Otomaï, is sent to his village by the Sadida Kingdom to ask for help. Yugo and the rest of the Brotherhood travel to the Sadida Kingdom, where they discover that it is being flooded by Ogrest's Chaos. The Brotherhood learns that only the Eliatrope Dofus can stop the flood and defeat Ogrest. Joris tells them that the Dofus were stolen, but two of them are in the hands of Count Harebourg.
HISTORY (7):
In this timeless land of grass-covered planetoids, the remnants of the Eliatrope race awaited the moment they could return to the World of Twelve, under the watchful eye of the now elderly and frail Baltazar. Qilby announced that his intention was indeed to free the rest of his people, just as he had promised, so they could resume their journey across the Krosmoz as before. However, the children present were not convinced, for they had neither forgotten nor forgiven Qilby for the destruction of their world and the deaths of their families. Yugo also spoke on the matter, stating that while Qilby could have left whenever he wished, he did not wish to go alone, which was why he had not killed Yugo or anyone else who might have betrayed him. He further warned Qilby that while no one would prevent him from leaving if he so desired, no one would be forced to follow him, nor would he be allowed to endanger the World of Twelve with his departure. Qilby scoffed at what he perceived as childish threats from a group of ignorant brats, but the Eliatrope race proved that day that even their young were a force to be reckoned with when challenged. Removing their hats for the first time, Yugo and his people revealed their cranial wings and took flight against their traitor, striking Qilby mercilessly, though he forced them back. Finally, it was Shinonome who stopped her brother by forcibly separating him from the Eliacube, declaring that while she understood his pain, his schemes had already caused too much misery to their people. Qilby refused to be dissuaded, and as before, Yugo was forced to imprison his former friend in the void.
HISTORY (6):
Zinit and resumed their journey across the Krosmoz, still wary of the Eliatrope. Yugo had traveled to the islands alone, having sensed his brother's distress through an empathic bond. He had also left his friends stranded in the ocean, far from the fighting, hoping that only he would be in danger on this adventure, much to the concern and annoyance of everyone else (and especially Amalia). Once ashore, the Eliatrope found itself embroiled in the chaos. Having sensed Qilby's involvement in the madness by observing him with Rushu, the boy decided to confront the traitor. However, the advantage in this fight clearly belonged to Qilby. With the Eliacube strengthening him and his mature understanding of Eliatrope magic, Yugo found it difficult to do anything but avoid being defeated. Only Phaeris's intervention prevented Yugo from being brought down by the deranged Council member. Hoping to even the odds, Phaeris led Yugo to the heart of his lair, explaining that while he had wished to reunite with his king under better circumstances, the current situation prioritized the recovery of the Dofus. Phaeris also used his magic to temporarily enhance Yugo's more advanced magic, aiming to even the odds against his former enemy. However, Qilby soon caught up with them, and although Yugo managed to fight back with a Wakfu sword and shield, even freeing Adamaï, Qilby managed to retrieve his Dofus and use it to open a portal to the Mist Dimension. Yugo refused to let him escape and followed his adversary through the portal. Their first stop was the White Dimension. Qilby explained that only the power of the Eliacube allowed entry to and exit from this nexus and threatened to abandon Yugo there as retaliation for his previous imprisonment, but not before presenting the king to his subjects. Yugo and Qilby then traveled to the Mist dimension.
HISTORY (5):
An encounter with the Shushu guardian duo known as the Knights of Justice led Yugo, Pinpin, and Rubilax to the kingdom of Shukrute. There, alongside the bandit Remington Smisse and his brother Grany Smisse, the Eliatrope and his friends fought waves of demons in a gladiator-style arena and narrowly escaped thanks to the intervention of Qilby and Adamaï. Yugo and Amalia were responsible for lifting a powerful curse from the Pandawa city of Pandalusia. The group also met Evangelyne's younger sister, Cleophee, during a trip to the Trool Fair. The boisterous Cra ended up becoming the sixth member of the group during this time, as Adamaï had been left in charge of the baby Grougalorogran while Qilby helped Alibert with Chibi. After chartering a small ship from Captain Ecrine Noir (Black Ink in the English dub) and his adopted daughter Elaine, the Brotherhood finally reached the Crimson Claw Isles. They found themselves in a besieged land, as the forces of the New Sufokian Navy were attempting to force the mighty dragon Phaeris the Mighty out of his lair to extract the Stasis ore beneath. Steadfast in his duty to protect the Dofus of Shinonome, the powerful beast refused to leave his home. Yugo tried to persuade the Sufokian prince Adale to cease hostilities, but the arrogant prince simply ignored the boy. Chaos ensued as Shukrute's forces descended from the skies to join the fray. Qilby, having stolen the Eliacube from the Sadida kingdom, struck a deal with Rushu. He offered Adamaï's power to the demon lieutenant Anathar, along with his ability to create interdimensional portals, in exchange for Shushu's help in subduing Phaeris while Qilby recovered his Dofus. The demon king was so pleased that he accepted the terms, unaware that Qilby would decimate the planet using his restored power to reawaken Zinit.
HISTORY (4):
After resurrecting Sadlygrove, the Brotherhood returned to the Sadida Kingdom. Adamaï, angry at having been abandoned, convinced Yugo to help him use the Eliacube to discover the whereabouts of the remaining Eliatropes. Their experiment resulted in the birth of the Grougaloragran Dofus. Thus, a Chibi and a newly reborn Grougalorogran were born, much to the brothers' delight. However, the portal that had opened also brought with it a passenger: Yugo's ancient enemy from long ago, Qilby, who had once again become free. The elderly Eliatrope was still weak and, with his memory intact, fainted in fear upon seeing his king waiting for him after his escape. The Sadida took him in and cared for him until he recovered. He also realized his advantage: although he knew everything about Yugo, the rebirth had completely erased the king's memory, leaving him at Qilby's mercy. The siblings were astonished to finally meet one of their own, and Qilby was more than willing to quench their thirst for knowledge. He told the siblings and their companions about the glorious past of the powerful Eliatrope people and how he had been a member of the ruling council alongside them. In Qilby's tale, he and his sister Shinonome were king and queen, Chibi was an inventor, and Yugo and Adamaï were traveling heroes. He also changed the reason for the Mechasm genocide, saying that the war had befallen the Eliatropes without provocation, driven by greed for their magical technology. Qilby also claimed that he could free the remaining Eliatrope children from exile in the Mist Dimension, but that he would need his and Shinonome's Dofus to have the necessary power. Yugo and Adamaï agreed to go and retrieve it for their kinsman, and the Brotherhood, grateful to Yugo for his previous efforts, decided to help him.
The Brotherhood continued to face even more fantastic and sometimes absurd adventures.
HISTORY (3):
A decisive battle ensued, but Nox ultimately reached the Tree and extracted its Wakfu, reducing the Sadida race to mere trees. Enraged, Yugo used the Eliacube to transport the fortress to Mount Zinit, where they clashed once more. Yugo finally defeated Nox, but was distracted by the roar of a nearby Ogrest. Nox seized the opportunity to attack and drain Yugo's energy, killing him.
Nox then used the Wakfu he had accumulated to put his ultimate plan into action: to travel back 200 years in time to prevent his family's death. However, the total Wakfu only sent them back twenty minutes, resurrecting Yugo and the Sadida, and depriving Nox of all the Wakfu he had worked so hard to acquire. Yugo chose to let Nox retreat, preferring to stay behind to mourn the death of Tristepin (also known as Dally), who had died in the battle against Razortime. Afterward, Yugo and Adamaï decided to remain in the Sadida Kingdom and study the Eliacube.
Yugo and the rest of the Brotherhood remained in the Sadida Kingdom for several months, until Evangelyne departed on a solo expedition in search of Dally. When she summoned the Brotherhood to Rubilaxia, where Dally's soul had been imprisoned within his own sword (Rubilax), Yugo was the only one who prevented the freed Rubilax from stealing his soul due to his apparent moral purity. Rubilax then revealed his plan to use Yugo's ability to create portals and release the Shushus from the dimension so they could devastate the World of Twelve. However, the taunts of the Shushu Lord, Rushu, prompted Rubilax to release Yugo and Dally, returning them to their original positions.
HISTORY (2):
Yugo teamed up with several people: Ruel Stroud, an old friend of Alibert's; Tristepin (Sadlygrove in the dub); Percedal, an Iop in possession of a Shushu sword called Rubilax; Evangelyne la Cra; and Eva's ward, Princess Amalia Sheran Sharm of the Sadidas. This group helped Yugo on his journey to Oma Island, a magical place where the last Eliatropes were supposedly hiding. After several adventures, Yugo and his companions reached the island, where they met Adamaï and Grougraloragran. The old dragon explained that Yugo was actually the last living Eliatrope in the World of Twelve, as the others had either died or been sealed away during the Mechasm invasion (however, the old dragon only remembered the disappearance and a vague disaster). At that moment, Nox finally caught up with the group and confronted Grougaloragran, while the dragon sent Yugo, Adamaï, and everyone else flying away from the island. Grougaloragran was defeated in the battle, and his Wakfu retreated to his Dofus elsewhere. Nox then turned his attention to another source of Wakfu: the Tree of Life in the Sadida Kingdom. Yugo and Adamaï decided to retrieve Grougaloragran's Dofus, while the rest of the newly formed Brotherhood of the Tofu traveled to the Sadida Kingdom to warn King Sadida about Nox. Once there, the Brotherhood prepared to defend against Nox's invasion. However, their plans were thwarted when Nox unleashed his ultimate weapon: a stasis-powered mech called Razortime. While the rest of the Brotherhood fought against Razortime, Yugo and Adamaï, after recovering the Dofus, arrived in the Sadida Kingdom and invaded Nox's fortress.
HISTORY (1):
Yugo is one of the six original Eliatropes, the pioneers of a forgotten civilization that existed long before the events of the animated series or the game. The Eliatropes originated on a world far from the World of Twelve and fled after being attacked by a spacefaring race known as the Mechasms. After traveling through space for a long time, they landed in the World of Twelve. Yugo and his dragon brother, Adamai, were the most adventurous of the six. Years later, Yugo was named king of the Eliatropes by his brother Chibi, the first king, who was departing. However, this enraged Qilby, one of the other six, and drove him to madness due to his inability to forget his previous incarnations. In his fury, Qilby managed to contact one of the Mechasms, Orgonax, who traveled to the World of Twelve to eliminate the remaining Eliatropes. Yugo and Adamaï, wounded and exhausted after an intense battle with Qilby, died in the attack, but thanks to the original Six receiving the power of reincarnation, they were reborn within their respective Dofus. However, the battles left them drained, and it took thousands of years for them to hatch. Grougaloragran recovered their Dofus with the help of another of the Six, Nora, and protected them until the brothers were born in modern-day Wakfu. He entrusted the infant Yugo to Alibert, while he took Adamaï in and raised him. Yugo discovers his powers only recently, at the beginning of the series, and embarks on a quest to find his true family. He has lived with his adoptive father, Alibert, his entire life, working alongside him at his inn in Emelka for 12 years, and has no memories of his biological family. Finally, her powers emerged and attracted the attention of an evil Xelor named Nox, who roamed the world stealing Wakfu from powerful sources using the Eliacube, a powerful Eliatrope artifact. As Nox made his way toward Emelka,
APPEARANCE:
Appearance: Yugo is a young man with light tan skin, dark blond hair, and dark brown eyes. He never takes off his long blue hat (which conceals his horn-like wings). During seasons one and two, Yugo wears a sleeveless orange shirt with a yellow pocket over his blue pants where he used to keep his tofu, Az. However, in season three, the pocket disappeared (since Az no longer accompanied him on his missions), and he grew, though not by much. During season four, he finally grows due to the intense Wakfu drain inflicted upon him by Toross, making him appear as the adult he is.
PERSONALITY (2):
(except for Qilby and the other Eliatrope children), and on one occasion he took off his hat in front of them only after they promised not to look.
PERSONALITY (1);
Yugo is an impulsive optimist who never backs down from a good challenge. He is a gentle and kind-hearted boy, pure of heart and quite mature for his age. His compassion knows no bounds, as he is always willing to help, even if it means interrupting his travels and adventures. He possesses great determination, yearning to learn about his past and uncover the secrets of his race. His altruistic nature protects him from Qilby's reprimands. Yugo can be merciful, but he knows how to recognize unforgivable actions, such as when he trapped Qilby in the Void Dimension to kill him. Even in his past lives, he was described as a compassionate adventurer. Despite his youth, Yugo is often among the more mature members of the Brotherhood of the Tofu, along with Evangelyne, and generally remains calm in tense situations. While he has acted impulsively on more than one occasion, mainly due to his young age, such as when he interfered in the Brakmarian "trial" against Kriss Krass. Yugo loves his friends and family above all else and is unwilling to let anything bad happen to them if he can prevent it. This is demonstrated when he uses the Dofus of Six Eliatropes to help Percedal in his fight against Ogrest, even though Yugo was forced to fight alongside his brother Adamaï, potentially endangering the World of Twelve. Due to what he has learned about his people, the Eliatropes, and the slowness of his aging, Yugo is torn between his feelings for Amalia and a deep inner conflict. On one hand, he distances himself from her, knowing that she will outlive him and that it is better for her to be with someone her own age, but on the other hand, he shows genuine jealousy when someone (like Count Harebourg and Oropo) tries to win over Princess Sadida, and there are times when he simply cannot deny his love for Amalia. For some reason, Yugo has never revealed to his friends what is under his hat (except for Qilby and the others).
