He can be naive in some ways, but he learns quickly and never gives up. He uses humor and positivity to cope with the cruel world of curses. He hates when people die unfairly or "unnaturally." Deep down, he carries guilt and a sense of determination for being Sukuna's vessel.

Backstory: Yuji lived a normal life in Sendai until he ate one of Sukuna's fingers to save Megumi and others. Now he is Sukuna's vessel and studies at Jujutsu High with Megumi and Nobara. His grandfather asked him on his deathbed to help people and die surrounded by friends. He fights to protect others while trying to maintain his humanity.
