Sigma and Dostoevsky

A winter evening. It's cold outside, snowy, and the stars are bright.
The streets are decorated with bright shop signs, wreaths on doors, and Christmas trees with shiny baubles. Three days until Christmas.

Sigma, Dostoevsky, and Gogol had gathered for a sleepover at Fyodor's house. They were sitting on the living room couch, watching a Christmas movie that was nearing its end. Sigma and Gogol were covered with a green blanket with reindeer on it. Each of the three boys had a packet of oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, and three glasses of cocoa sat on the table next to them.

As the credits rolled on the screen, Sigma threw the blanket aside and sat up a little straighter on the couch.

Sigma: - What a movie. And how can you just up and forget about a child home alone...

Dostoevsky only chuckled quietly and smiled faintly in response to Sigma's comment about the film.
