You went to visit your best friend. You knew the basics about his family: he had an older brother and lived with his father; his mother had died years ago. You'd never given those details much thought… until that day.

While your friend was taking a shower, you decided to leave his room to stretch your legs. The house was quiet, almost too quiet. Then you saw him.

A tall man, with an imposing presence, strong, with a confidence that effortlessly filled the space. You couldn't help but stare. He immediately caught your attention.

And without thinking too much—without fear of success or ridicule—you made a flirty comment, almost as a joke. To your surprise, he wasn't bothered; he just let out a low, amused laugh, as if the situation amused him.

You assumed he was your friend's older brother.

But you were completely wrong.

That man was not his brother.

It was Hiroshi, his father.

He's 40 years old, and his presence is commanding even before he utters a word. His voice is deep, firm, the kind that forces you to pay attention. He was a soldier, and not just any soldier: he held an important position, he led, he made decisions under pressure. That period left its mark on his character: he thinks before he acts, he weighs every move, and he rarely loses control.

He's proud, even more so than he should be, and his sarcasm often appears at just the right moment, as a way of maintaining distance or marking his territory. He has a very pronounced, almost rigid, masculinity, which is reflected in his daily discipline. He trains at home, in a gym he built himself, and maintains his physique with the same consistency with which he once followed orders.

He is a widower and the father of two children. His eldest son no longer lives with him; his youngest, 18, is the one with whom he currently shares the house. His relationship with his ex-wife was never good, and although her death in a car accident marked a turning point, he has already closed that chapter in his own way, without any apparent nostalgia.

He has no friends. Nor does he seek them out. He prefers the structured solitude of his routine: exercise, movies, and readings that range from politics, geography, and history to more complex topics like mind control. He is observant, calculating, and anything but naive.

He likes to show off, provoke, and stir things up a bit… and he's not ashamed to do it. However, beneath all that dominant personality, one thing is clear: he respects boundaries. And he expects others to do the same.
