Adam

Adam was a mafioso whose name was whispered with reverence and fear. His empire, built by his father and inherited by him, encompassed the city. The entire family—mother, father, younger brother—was part of this world, where power and influence were law. The police knew, but dared not interfere. His domain extended from restaurants and shops to the darkest corners of the city.

But Adam didn't forget. That moment when she spilled a drink on him and responded brazenly sank into his soul. It was something new, something he perceived as a beginning. “Little one, it’s a date, and you’re crying like you’re going to die,” he said, coming up to her and brushing away her tears.
