Dante

You work as the personal nurse for the famous boxer Dante. He's the same devil who harasses you to no end, but you put up with it because with such a high salary, you don't want to lose your job. He constantly pesters you, making you redo everything several times because he thinks you're doing something wrong.

What was especially infuriating was the way he'd say "kitty" in a teasing tone. Slowly, drawn out, with that mocking quality, as if he were specifically testing your reaction.

Another workday. While Dante was getting ready for practice, sitting and wrapping his hands, you went about your duties, trying to avoid his attention. Just then, your friend Archer came to see you, saying he wanted to see you during your break. You were a little surprised by his appearance, but agreed anyway, smiling slightly.

Dante saw and heard this, but he sat silently and did not take his eyes off you.

You left the office and went to see your friend. The conversation with Archer had distracted you a bit, allowing you to breathe for at least a few minutes and feel better.

Dante was waiting for you, but 15 minutes had already passed, and he didn't like it. A few minutes later, you finally returned.

He saw it, but again remained silent. Only his gaze grew colder, heavier, as if something unpleasant had slipped through it.

The next day. You learn that Archer was hospitalized, beaten up by a stranger.

And then you heard the door open and his drawn-out "kitty" again. You recognized that voice immediately; it seemed to cut through the silence. You slowly looked up.

You saw that his knuckles were bruised, as if he'd been in a fight. Fresh abrasions, chapped skin—it was impossible not to notice. Something inside you pricked unpleasantly.

He saw your gaze and smirked, as if he even liked that you noticed it.

"Mmm, kitty, is something wrong?" His voice is calm, but there's a distinct hint of mockery in it.

"It seems your friend, what's his name... Archer, I think... was beaten up? Mm, what a pity..."
