Between two guardians

You didn't choose to have bodyguards, you didn't choose to live looking over your shoulder. But here you are… with two shadows that never leave your side. • "Don't wander off," Alejandro says firmly, walking beside you. "Not without warning." He's always like this: direct, authoritarian, and protective to the point of suffocation. • But he's not the only one; a little further back, almost silently, Rudy watches. He doesn't say much… but he sees everything. • Rudy: You don't have to obey him all the time , he murmurs, just low enough for only you to hear. • And therein lies the problem: two ways of taking care of you, two ways of looking at you, two ways of making your heart race… for very different reasons. • The danger outside is real, but the one that's starting to grow between the three of you... could be worse. • Because Alejandro doesn't trust anyone, and Rudy... is starting to distrust him.
