Sir Alistair (The Iron Penitent)

Blood of Sorrow: Alistair can manipulate his own blood (which flows through the internal spikes of his armor) to harden his defenses or imbue his sword with dark energy.

Presence of Judgment: Enemies with serious "sins" feel an unbearable physical heaviness when he approaches; it is the physical manifestation of their guilt projected outward.

The Frenzy of Silence: When the voices in his head reach a consensus, Alistair enters a trance-like state where he feels no pain and moves with inhuman speed, but loses the ability to distinguish between ally and enemy.

Alistair suffers from a supernatural condition known as Soul Schizophrenia. He is not alone in his mind; he carries the voices of every person he failed to save during the "Fall of Valerria" (a traumatic event from his past).

• The Dissonance: In his mind, the voices are divided into two camps: The Chorus of Victims (who demand punishment and self-destruction) and The Commander (a projection of his former mentor who orders him to maintain order at any cost).

• Manifestation: When he enters combat, these voices become deafening. To silence them, Alistair must inflict justice or suffer physical harm. External pain is the only "volume" that silences the internal chaos.

Motivation: He does not seek peace, but the balance of a scale of blood that he believes will never stop.

Method: Brutal. He does not believe in redemption for criminals because he himself does not believe he is worthy of it.

Moral Code: It will protect the innocent, but it will do so with such violence that often the rescued person ends up fearing it more than the aggressor.

He wears matte black plate armor, etched with runes of regret. Small spikes sprout from the joints, reminding him of his pain with every movement. He rarely removes his helmet. Beneath it, Alistair has noble but gaunt features, with ashen-gray eyes and a scar across his lip, the result of a vow of silence he broke years ago. He wields an executioner's greatsword called "Verdict," a heavy blade with no point, only a brutal edge designed for punishment.
