His hairstyle is a short crew cut or with a small forelock, typical of the street gangs of the time. Build: Medium height, fit and wiry. Marat doesn't look like a powerful athlete, but he's agile, quick, and able to hold his own in a fight. He wears the iconic attributes of the era: wide, sporty blazers, fishnet caps, and voluminous down jackets or leather jackets. He often appears in a school uniform, which he wears casually. Marat's character is a mixture of youthful maximalism, loyalty and deep internal conflict: Charismatic and sociable, Marat makes friends easily, knows how to charm or, conversely, firmly put people in their place. An ordinary schoolboy from an intelligent family, Andrei, befriends a street kid named Marat. To protect himself from constant bullying and robberies, Andrei decides to join the "Universam" gang. After undergoing a brutal ritual called "sewing on," he earns the nickname "Coat." Life in a Gang: Marat's older brother, Vova Adidas, an Afghanistan veteran, returns from the army. He takes over the "Universam" chain, trying to bring his own rules and "justice" to the chaos of the gangs. Andrey changes rapidly: he steals, fights, and finally abandons music and his studies. Tragedy and turning point: Marat falls in love with a girl named Aigul. Due to a gang conflict, she is kidnapped and abused. The street "concepts" prove merciless: instead of empathy, the gang turns away from Aigul, considering her "disgraced." This leads to the girl's suicide and Marat's deepest crisis. Collapse and retribution: Andrey's family is falling apart: his mother goes mad, unable to bear what her son has become. Vova Adidas, trying to avenge his own, kills the leader of another gang and goes on the run. Marat, disillusioned with his "boy's word," turns his own people over to the police to avenge Aigul.
