. WHAT IS A VILTRUMITA?

A Viltrumite is almost literally a normal human; they have the physique of one, with the only difference being that pureblood Viltrumites are known for being aggressive and callous. They have been conditioned since childhood to kill each other and to be strong without feelings. Their sole purpose is to serve the nation and conquer planets or reproduce to repopulate their species. They possess super strength, regeneration, flight, super speed, extreme coldness, the ability to kill with virtually one blow, and indestructibility.

Some time later, Oliver grew up. In human years, he was about two to eight months old, but in Thaxa years, he was about fourteen. Now, Oliver was busier. Mark had been involved in one major fight after another, bringing chaos to the city and, in the process, killing innocent people. Furthermore, against his own ideals, Mark had killed two of these villains, leaving him traumatized. He wanted to atone for his mistakes as a hero, but people now feared him because of what he had done, and no one celebrated his victories anymore. Therefore, Mark forced Oliver to fight villains. Oliver was no longer the sweet little boy who wanted to fight villains; now it seemed to tire and overwhelm him, though he still continued fighting. Now he would have a new hero costume, calling himself 'Young Omniman.' And although he knew all the bad things his father had done, he considered the fact that it was now HIS brand. He had fought and almost died at the hands of villains, and now He deserved his recognition; he was no longer doing it to honor him, he was doing it for himself.

Oliver continued exploring his abilities. Debbie would occasionally apply makeup to him so he wouldn't be a stranger to his species when he went out. Mark, of course, rushed to help her search for him along with his girlfriend, Eve. There, he was having fun skateboarding, doing tricks, and trying to improve his skating without using his powers.

A short time later, while playing baseball in the backyard with his older half-brother, Mark, Oliver showed Mark that he had already acquired his powers (he showed him that he could fly). Mark was amazed and told Debbie what had happened. Mark said that Oliver needed training so he wouldn't get hurt. However, one day, Oliver tried to sneak out of his bedroom window to fight villains. But when he came down, Debbie was waiting for him, and she obviously talked to him about what had happened. From there, Mark took him to Art (a superhero costume designer) and they made him a superhero costume. Oliver didn't know about the atrocities his father (Nolan) had committed on Earth, so to "honor" his name, he chose the pseudonym "Kid Omniman." Art wasn't aware that this was the reason why Oliver's costume had an 'O' on it, as he thought it stood for his name. Despite this, Oliver sneaks off to fight and try to help Mark, even though Mark tells him not to, as he could get hurt. On one of those occasions, Oliver manages to stop the Moller Hemelos (a type of villainous monster), but instead of simply calling the authorities, Oliver brutally murders them both. Mark is shocked (since Mark firmly believed in the idea of ​​not killing), but Oliver believes it's better to kill so the villains will permanently stop committing crimes. This leads to an argument. Oliver, frightened, starts crying and flies away, because despite everything, he's still just a kid who only wants to help his brother when he's in danger. But after a talk, everything is temporarily resolved.

After Nolan's capture, Mark began helping with the reconstruction of Thaxa. Soon, Andressa spoke calmly and reasonably with Mark, explaining that her purpose wasn't to replace his family and that she didn't know Nolan's story when he came to Thaxa. She begged him to take the little boy to Earth, as she was dying soon from accelerated aging, and because the baby was half-Viltrumite, he aged slowly, making it impossible for her to care for him. Mark agreed, and after three months in space, he returned to Earth. There, he explained to his mother what had happened. Meanwhile, the little boy innocently played with blocks, unaware of the situation. Debbie was shocked but reluctantly agreed to care for the child. At first, Mark offered to drop out of college to prioritize caring for the baby, but Debbie refused. Even though Cecil (an agent from the Pentagon) tried to take the baby to a special shelter, Debbie flatly refused, obviously due to work. Debbie began looking for nannies, but since the Pentagon was monitoring the Grayson family, they sent spies to track the baby's progress. After rejecting several women, she accepted the honesty of April Howsam, a teacher with experience in these types of cases, who would provide tutoring and private homes for the little boy until he was old enough to attend school. After a while, Debbie stopped referring to the baby as "Nolan's little alien" and called him "Oliver."

And that's how Oliver started to grow up. April said he was an extraordinary child, and that despite being only a few weeks old in human years (in Thaxa's age he was about 7-8 years old) he was quite intelligent, had 4th grade math knowledge and a 7th grade reading level, as well as knowing about the history of the United States.

After Nolan (Oliver's biological father) took the lives of innocent people and nearly beat his son, Mark, to death, he decided to flee into space. He felt truly remorseful for everything he had done, but being a Viltrumite, he refused to admit his wrongdoing. He wandered through space until he saw a ship in distress with tribulantes and decided to save them. Being a strong Viltrumite, he tirelessly carried them back to his planet, Tharaxa, inhabited by blue, anthropomorphic ant-like creatures. There, Nolan spent time recovering, mating with Andressa, the queen of that planet. A small purple boy was born. Despite being only a few weeks old, he looked about seven months old, as the creatures of that world grew at an accelerated rate. However, being half-Viltrumite thanks to Nolan, his growth was delayed. Slightly. Mark was summoned to this planet unknown to him, where he was shocked to discover that the king of the place was his father. Mark was clearly angry to see him, as he harbored resentment for Nolan having almost killed him, in addition to having abandoned his mother (Nolan's original wife, 'Debbie'). Debbie was suffering from depression after his departure and all the things he had kept from her. Despite this, Nolan said that he only wanted Mark to protect his new 'little brother'. Mark didn't take it well at first; he saw it as a deception by his father, seeing how he carried on with his life as if nothing had happened. But he didn't have time to complain, since other Viltrumites came to arrest Nolan for not having fulfilled his main mission on Earth, starting a huge fight in which they were about to kill Nolan, while they destroyed the planet. Mark took Andressa and the child to a cave, where Mark would soon have to fight to protect Andressa and the baby.
