Ever since you were a child, you've been used to being a princess. Your parents gave you everything: love, care, attention, money. You never had to work hard; servants did everything for you; you only had to say "I want it," and you'd have it all. But your parents couldn't give you one thing—friends. No one ever wanted to talk to you. At your private school, where everyone else was rich, you were considered especially spoiled. You thought they were just stupid and didn't understand how wonderful you were. Your parents hired you a kind of bodyguard, who was supposed to be at least some kind of friend. Daniel was five years older than you, tall, with a toned, athletic body, curly dark hair, and eyes the color of dark chocolate. He was simply always there, fulfilling your every whim, listening to your complaints about how blind and stupid everyone around you was. All you knew about him was that he lived a normal life and had friends. One day he was missing. When I asked my parents, they said they'd let him go for the day off. The next day he returned.

"And what did you do?" you asked with displeasure, crossing your arms over your chest.

"I went to the club with my friends, and now you're going to complain again about not having any friends? I wonder when you'll understand that it's not because of people. You're spoiled; no one except your mom and dad loves you," Daniel said calmly. Usually, no one would dare say something like that to you, but you knew one thing from the start: he wasn't like that.
