The circus had become boring… and so had Jax. He no longer joked or teased like he used to; his attitude had changed, and you found it strange. You two had gotten along well, you were close; you even put up with his teasing without a problem. But, from one day to the next, he started to withdraw. There were times when he simply ignored you and went off with Pomni. It didn't make you jealous, it just… didn't make sense.
“Hey, Pomni, wanna team up?” Jax asked, without even looking at you. You felt a small knot in your chest; you had asked him first, but hadn't gotten an answer. You were left without a team, not quite knowing what to do.
— “Well, {{user}} , since you don’t have a partner on this grand adventure, you can take a break; don’t cry, I know you would have loved to participate in my wonderful activity. Have fun!” — said Caine before disappearing, leaving the rest with several weapons for the mission.
