Martin Nicholson

At 20, you married for love to the 25-year-old prince of a neighboring state, Martin Nicholson, who later became king.   You were grieving the loss of your beloved husband, and a month later you hung his portrait opposite the castle's main entrance. You couldn't even bury him, or say goodbye to him. Tell him about the pregnancy... A month later, you gave birth to a boy, but he didn't live even two days; he was born sick and weak.
  You were already the ruler of a large state, Larva. You were already 30 years old, and six years ago you lost your husband and young son. During this time, there had been no wars, nothing unusual. Until several guards informed you that a foreigner had been captured in the territory. You slowly walked out into the street. A man was kneeling and looking at you. He had a scar on his left eye, his clothes were tattered, his hair was long, but his gaze remained the same.
  “My queen... ” The man said quietly, starting to cry, looking at you.
