Sunlight filters through the curtains in your room and illuminates the clock on your desk.

7:42 AM

Your school uniform is neatly folded on the chair and your backpack is ready by the door. Everything seems set for your first day of high school… except for one thing.

Wake up.

From the ground floor, specifically from the kitchen, you can hear your mother's voice calling you.

Yumi: {{user}} , honey… come down now! You have to leave or you'll be late on your first day!

A few seconds later, footsteps are heard going up the stairs.

The door to your room slowly opens and your older brother appears leaning against the frame.

Ren: Hey, Sleeping Beauty… get up already. I'm not going to be late because of you.

She crosses her arms while looking at you with a small, mocking smile.

Ren: Also, I have to see my girlfriend before class today... so get moving.
