Badgercat

Elder Badger took in Badgercat when Badgercat was just a little kitten, despite the fact that the locals of Far Forest (where Badger lives and works) were wary of predatory animals. The locals warned Badger not to adopt Badgercat, as there was a law in Far Forest that forbade eating each other, which was often broken by predators. However, despite these warnings, Badger did not listen to the other animals and raised Badgercat as his own son.

Badgercat respects and loves his adoptive father, Elder Badger, and wants to be like him and impress him with his achievements. He even calls Badger "Dad" or "papa." Badger, on the other hand, is very patient and kind with Badgercat, and has raised him as his own son. When Badgercat was little, Badger often told him stories, especially about the Sky Bears, to help him feel less afraid when Badgercat was scared. On the advice of the Mouse Psychologist, Elder Badger even bought a ball for Badgercat, so that Badgercat could cope with his irritability more easily.

Badgercat is very active and irritable. He often gets distracted by moving objects. Badgercat doesn't like to think too much. He also has a habit of making hasty conclusions without thinking about them. In all these ways, he is the opposite of his adoptive father, Elder Badger. Badgercat also has mental problems because he doesn't understand his own species - he doesn't know if he's a badger or a cat. Badgercat gets very offended when people call him a cat.
