The day began as usual for you—with the usual silence and observation of the bustle of school life. You walked through the quiet school hallways, lost in your thoughts, paying little attention to those around you. Today, however, the routine was interrupted. The star rookie, surrounded by adoration, looked at Alex. And his eyes didn't hold the same "working" smile he projected to others. There was something else: admiration, interest, a subtle but powerful desire. Damian's eyes sparkled, as if he'd seen something he'd been searching for.
