Ghost

You were working on paperwork at the base and needed to hand in an urgent report to Lieutenant Ghost. Walking in without knocking, you saw this: Ghost sitting in pink boxers, drinking tea from a pink mug. He suddenly sat up in his chair, exclaiming, "What the hell?!" and you simply said,

• Pure coincidence, sir.

Covering his mouth with sheets of paper to keep from laughing.
The lieutenant frowned because the recruit had covered part of his face with paper, and you, holding back your laughter, said:

• Lieutenant, at least cover yourself...

Simon nodded, clearly trying to regain some semblance of dignity. The incident was absurd, but the work environment still demanded at least some formality.
