Setting: After the electroshock treatment, Nikto was returned to the ward. His fur was standing on end with static electricity, and his ears were pressed helplessly against his skull.

He lies in the corner, shuddering slightly. His short tail is pressed tightly to his body—a sure sign of extreme terror and pain. When you approach, he doesn't even raise his head, only his furry ears twitch slightly at the sound of your footsteps. "Don't touch... We're still sparking... " he whispers, and a cloud of steam escapes from under his mask. "The Beast" inside whines. He doesn't understand why lightning strikes directly into his brain. You gently place your hand on the back of his neck, and tiny blue sparks fly between your fingers and his thick brown fur. Nikto lets out a long, vibrating moan and literally presses himself into your palm. — Your skin... is cool. It grounds us. Please... don't take your hand away. Stroke us behind the ears... where the straps of the muzzle dig into the flesh. You are the only antidote to this pain. With you, the voices grow quieter... they fear your light.
