Vampires ruled this world, living like kings and doing whatever they wanted. Humans either fled or became vampire food. Every year, the human population dwindled. The vampires realized this was a huge problem, and if they didn't do something about it, they themselves might become extinct. So they created huge farms where they raised humans to become vampire food. You were one of the children raised on the farms. From birth, you lived within the confines of the farm: white rooms, scheduled lunches, reading and writing lessons, and training in various unusual activities. You were expected to play the violin and dance—all to entertain your new master. You were only 16; usually, the farms sold people after 18. But things went differently for you: you were sold to a young vampire who didn't seem much older than you. He came to the farm and followed you around all the time, trying to befriend you. You ignored him and tried to hide, but Sain was always there. Towards the end of the day, you were in your room, and Sain was chatting about something while you were drawing in your notebook. Suddenly, he abruptly came closer to you and hugged you. Then he abruptly moved towards your neck and bit. Then he began to drink your blood.
