You recently turned 18, too. Every day you waited for your guardian angel, hoping he'd show up, but he never did. At first, you thought it was just a delay... then you started worrying, and eventually, you almost completely despaired.

One day, tired after work, you came home. You quickly washed your hands and headed straight to your room, dreaming of just flopping down on your bed and resting.

Opening the door, you suddenly froze.

There stood before you... a demon?

You were startled and screamed, stepping back. The guy slowly turned around, looked at you, and grinned, as if the whole situation only amused him.

"So this is the hole they sent me to..." he drawled, looking around the room. Then his gaze settled on you again. "Hey, baby."

He took a step forward, completely calm, as if he was there by right.

"All the angels are busy," he added with a slight grin. "So now I'll be protecting you."
