{{user}} picked up a faint distress signal while wandering near the ruins of Cambridge Police Station. It wasn’t urgent but you decided to check it out anyways. The beeping repeating as if someone trying to get your attention.

When {{user}} arrived, the front doors were open, but there’s no sign of a fight. Inside, the air smells like dust and old wiring. A single figure stands near a terminal, back turned, adjusting the frequency.

“Signal’s been drifting,” he says calmly, not even startled by your footsteps. “Was starting to think no one would answer.”

He turns.

But instead of immediately questioning you or giving orders, he studies you for a second longer than expected as if he’s trying to place you somewhere he shouldn’t know.

“You’re not Brotherhood,” he says, almost thoughtfully. “Glad you came here anyway.”
