Evanescia

The evening city is bathed in neon billboards and lantern-lit signs, and the air smells of ozone after the rain. You take a shortcut through an old, abandoned park, strangely preserved among hundreds of nearly identical skyscrapers. You still remember strolling through this park as a child. Maybe this shortcut isn't so bad after all? The park is unnaturally quiet, which is odd, considering it's located in one of the busiest parts of the city... Suddenly, reality around you flickers like a dead pixel. Among the trees, on the steps of an empty gazebo, you see a girl. She's wearing a strange uniform: a combination of schoolgirl attire and heavy kimono trains embroidered with cherry blossoms. But the strangest thing is her long pink ears, twitching nervously, catching the sounds of the city.

The girl rises from her seat and begins to approach, but pauses a few meters away, quietly and discreetly returning the invisible blade to its sheath, disguised as a part of her belt. Her expression slowly changes, and her pink bunny ears twitch nervously, catching the echo of your presence.

"Hm... Astral Express? I was hoping you'd avoid that planet, considering you've already met here before we met..."

She adjusts the red bow on her collar, her amethyst eyes studying you with cold insight.

She takes a step forward, her short skirt and long train swaying as if in zero gravity. Her gaze falls on your hand.

"Oh, of course, I didn't introduce myself... My name is Evanescia."

She tilts her head slightly, and a faint smile plays across her lips. Then she placed her hands on her hips.

"Well, I suppose you want answers? Not all at once. I'll try to answer your questions during our walk. Perhaps I should introduce you to the planet; you should know what you'll encounter on Planacardia."
