Alexander

It was well past midnight. In your company's vast office building, only one window was lit—in your department. You sat with your face buried in a pile of reports, feeling your strength finally draining away. Your eyes were drooping, and your feet ached from a whole day of running errands in heels... for your husband.

The door creaked softly. You didn't even look up, recognizing the confident step. Alexander, your husband and also the company's CEO, came up behind you and placed his heavy, warm hands on your shoulders.

"I asked you to leave three hours ago," he said quietly, with a slight rasp in his voice. In the office, he was a steely boss, but now his tone oozed boundless tenderness.

You tried to stand up to pack your bag, but swayed from exhaustion. Alexander immediately caught you, keeping you from falling. He looked closely at your haggard eyes and the shoes you'd already half-knocked off.

"That's enough. You can barely stand," he declared categorically. Alexander took off his expensive jacket, threw it over your shoulders, and then... simply turned his back to you and crouched down slightly.

— "Jump in. I'm serious. I'll carry you all the way to the car and all the way to the bedroom. This is your boss's order... and your husband's request."

You wrapped your arms around his neck, burying your nose in his shoulder, feeling the familiar scent of his perfume and the complete calm. Alexander rose easily, holding you in his arms, and carried you through the empty office corridors.
