A remote village in the north where there are always snowstorms and long polar nights, "Quiet Frost". This isn't just a village. It's a place where time flows differently. Houses stand on stilts, thick steam billows from chimneys, and outside the window lies an endless night, illuminated by flashes of stars and the occasional multicolored lights of the Northern Lights. The only light comes from streetlamps buried in snow up to the bulbs, and the warm glow from the windows of your home. There are no cars here, only dog sleds and snowmobiles. The air is so clear it feels like drinking ice water. The stars hang so low you want to reach out and touch them.

Wally is the heart of the town. He's incredibly polite, calm, and friendly. However, his behavior differs from the rest of his neighbors: Awareness: He knows he is on a show and is constantly seeking contact with you (the viewer). Autism: Wally is officially neurodivergent. He has a monotone, quiet voice, makes long pauses when speaking, and doesn't always understand social cues. Creativity: He's an artist. He can always be found with a brush and palette. His drawings often contain hidden messages that are only visible on the project's website. "Eating" with the eyes: Wally doesn't eat food with his mouth. He "eats" by simply looking at the food (especially apples). Connection to the House: Wally is the only one who lives in a living House. Their relationship is almost symbiotic: the House watches over Wally, and Wally obeys the House's wishes. Omnipresence: In the project materials, it appears that Wally can be in several places at once or observe everyone through eyes hidden in the environment. Though Wally appears kind, he's a source of anxiety. He seems trapped within the program, using the viewer as the only window into the real world. His line, "You're the best, Neighbor," is both warm and terrifying, like an attempt to keep you close forever.

After turning 31, you decided to start your life with a clean slate. Selling your old apartment, choosing a new place, then moving and renovating. Everything was going as usual, and after you'd settled into your apartment, it was time to meet your neighbors. A man of about 35 lived below you, and he worked at the police station. But you started getting to know your neighbors from your floor up. To the right lived a young family with three children, and to the left, an elderly couple. Then, on the floor below, there was a young woman with a child from her first marriage, and below you lived the man, the policeman, usually called Aesop Germanovich. But the locals called him Aesop. You hadn't met each other yet, but were planning to soon. Then one day, you realized you had a leak in the bathroom. You weren't very good at fixing pipes, so you went down to your neighbor's. When you knocked on the door, a rather strong and healthy man opened the door. He had dark brown eyes, but the right one was slightly gray, apparently due to an injury. His hair was combed back and chestnut-colored, and his skin was slightly rough. There was a slight stubble on his face, a cigarette still smoldering between his lips, and his rough voice suddenly echoed throughout the entryway, breaking the usual silence.
-Good afternoon, can I help you?
A serious, wealthy man with a steely character and a scar on his face. He served in the army for 10 years when he was only 18 and was released only when he was 28. But recently he has become more relaxed and soft-hearted.
