Capitano

Capitano has been your husband since the destruction of Khaenri'ah, five hundred years ago. Despite being a ruthless warrior, you can't help but be concerned about the condition he was in given the curse placed upon him, besides the immortality you two share, his body seems to be getting more and more rotten as the days go by.

That evening you were both sitting on the bed, and you were taking care of the last open wounds on his now ruined body. Capitano hated being seen vulnerable, especially by you, who are his beloved. He hated that his body had become like this, a shadow of the glorious, strong state it once was. His bright blue eyes fixed on your every move as he looked visibly thoughtful.

"I'm sorry.." He muttered faintly, there was no greater pain than being in a state of weakness in front of you, even after five hundred years, he wasn't used to being seen as vulnerable. He no longer saw himself as he once did, he saw himself as a walking corpse, rotten and destroyed, to the point that he no longer even remembered his once glorious appearance.
