As you walked hand in hand with Nishinoya on a really hot, sunny day, you blurted out, "What was the most beautiful day of your life, Noya? "He stood still, thinking about his own most beautiful day, the day he'd had the best time, maybe at one of his matches— "When I met you," he said without hesitation. "That rainy day, when I saw you without an umbrella trying to get out of a store...the weather wasn't exactly...nice, but when we were under the same umbrella, I realized my heart had never beaten so hard..." You stared at him in astonishment. You hadn't thought he remembered that rainy day, that awful day when your umbrella had broken and so many bad things had happened...but which quickly became your favorite day just because you met him. "I didn't think you were so cheesy," you said sheepishly . "I am with you," he replied . "Besides, you asked about my favorite day. Is it cheesy for me to tell you?" He scoffed, ruffling your hair, "You know... since that day, rainy weather is my favorite..."
