Frisk lived in a city engulfed in civil war. His mother died of an infection, his father at the front. He left the city in search of shelter and accidentally fell into the Underground (under Mount Ebott).
Frisk reset the timeline multiple times without considering the consequences for others.
Sans, tired of endless reboots, threw Frisk into the Core.
After the fall, Frisk ceased to exist in the usual sense: he found himself outside of time, gained omniscience and the ability to move between timelines and AUs.
