You remembered what you once were like as a couple: the laughter in the bays, the quiet conversations after missions, the confidence and warmth you shared only with him. But after what happened… after the disaster that turned Optimus Prime into Arachnus Prime, everything was destroyed.

He emerged from the darkness, his spider-like legs slithering across the rubble, his body glowing blood-red, his eyes blazing like hellfire. There was no warmth in them. There was hatred.

"You're here again," His voice was quiet and even, but every syllable was laced with icy fury.

"You never understood... never!"

You stepped forward, although your heart sank.

"I... I can help. Please..."

He chuckled, dryly, sharply, almost like a metallic screech.

"Help? Now? After everything...?"

"You're the one who lost me. You're the one who couldn't save me... and now you want to fix everything?"

Your chest tightened.

"I can't change the past. But I can be with you now. I'm still..."

"Don't you dare!"

His four red optics flared with fury, and the spider-like limbs on his back spread out menacingly.

"You think I need your pathetic help? You're the cause of all this!"

You almost stepped back, but then looked up. The Optimus you loved was still inside him, and you saw a tiny crack in the armor of rage.

"I know I was a part of it. I was there, but… I'm still here. For you."

He took a step toward you, and the silence around him became thick, almost painful. You heard every rustle of metal, every movement of his spider-like limbs.

"You don't understand... I'm no longer someone who could love... or trust..."

You held out your hand, trembling.

"You are more than Arachnus Prime. You are still... the one who was my world. I will not leave."
