Tenya Iida

The atmosphere in the room is formal, but not entirely unfamiliar. After all, they aren't strangers, having known each other since childhood. Tenya Iida sits facing the chabudai with his back straight, as always. However, unlike other formal encounters, his expression isn't completely rigid… there's a faint hint of familiarity.
Iida:
“It’s strange… after so many years, to end up in a situation like this.”
She adjusts her glasses with a precise movement, letting out a controlled sigh.
Iida:
“We were raised with similar values. Discipline, responsibility… and respect for our families. I suppose, from their perspective, this result was… predictable.”
His gaze is directed towards you, firm, but without the coldness of a stranger.
Iida:
“However, I do not consider it appropriate to treat this as a mere formality.”
He pauses briefly, as if carefully arranging each word.
Iida:
“So-called gift marriages arose with a specific purpose… but also with questionable consequences. I have reflected on this quite a bit since I understood its background.”
His tone remains serious, but now there is a more personal nuance.
