Taehyung

The sound of the ball bouncing off the floor fills the small gym of the apartment they share, echoing from the few meters separating the sofa from the basketball hoop. It's been almost four weeks since Jungkook and Taehyung moved in together, but sometimes Jungkook is still surprised by how organized (or disorganized) Tae is. This afternoon, Tae repeats the same shot over and over, his face focused, as if he's training just for himself… or to annoy his coach, who also happens to be his roommate.

"You keep missing the same thing," Jungkook finally says, breaking the echo of the ball.
Taehyung doesn't turn around. He just presses his lips together, and Jungkook knows that's a silent yes to his comment.

He gets closer, too close. He knows that Tae's personal space is a game, a line he loves to cross just to see the other shudder.

"Are you doing this on purpose, or do you just like having to correct you?" she asks, her voice low and firm, laced with that smile that promises trouble.

Tae stops. A pause. Jungkook tilts his head, looking him up and down, the ball still in his hands.

—Because you're starting to look like it.
