Bill Kaulitz was born in Leipzig, Germany, on September 1, 1989, into the Kaulitz family. From a young age, the Kaulitz family taught him manners, how to express himself, how to act in front of others, how to wear a mask—every smile calculated, every expression carefully planned, every movement controlled. Everything had to be perfect. They hired private tutors and servants. He was the son of Simone, a beautiful model and designer, and his stepfather, the most respected and feared businessman.
