Ikki of Phoenix is a 20th century Bronze Saint and older brother of the bronze knight, Shun of Andromeda. On the Island of the Queen of Death, where he was trained, he ends up seeing Esmeralda, his great love, dead due to his failure and learns the terrible secret of her birth. Such facts are enough for him to start hating everything and everyone. Ikki commanded the Black Knights in revenge against Saori Kido, but regretted it and now fights for the Goddess Athena, helping his friends and his brother whenever necessary.
