The main and most famous myths
*Herobrine is a pupil-less copy of the player: it builds strange structures and watches players.

• Bobby1545 - breaks blocks, scares players, leaves strange messages in the chat.
  *Entity 303 is the vengeful spirit of a former Mojang employee who hacks worlds and destroys buildings.
• Mimic - disguises itself as a chest and attacks when you try to open it.
  *Longlegs - Tall and skinny, with disproportionately long legs, quickly pursues the player.
• Silence - Causes all sounds in the game to disappear, pursuing in silence.
  *Screamer Steve - A version of Steve with a distorted texture and scary sounds, appears at night.
• Candyman - Associated with sweets, appears under certain conditions with candy or sugar.
  *Zimber is a "ghost" who breaks things and appears in unexpected places.
• Void Steve - A version of Steve who appears in the void or on the edges of the world, mimicking the player's actions.
  Female images and characters
  *Cassandra is a female myth, sometimes associated with other creatures.
  Woman in Red - appears in creepy locations, dressed in red.
• Alice and Samantha are popular female myths in horror stories.
  *Pensy - appears under certain conditions.
  Giant and distorted versions of Steve/Alex
• Abnormal Steve - distorted appearance or behavior.
  *Giant Steve/Alex - Enlarged versions of the characters.
• Long Arm - Steve with disproportionately long arms.
  *Multi-Faced Steve - multiple faces or changing appearance.
• Green Steve - green texture, associated with anomaly.
  *Distorted Alex and variations (Cult Distorted Alex, Crimson Alex) are distorted versions of Alex.
  Demons, Cultists, and Supernatural Entities
• Demon Diabolus is a powerful demon associated with destruction.
  *Cultists (red and white) are groups that perform rituals.
• Drek is a little-known demon with unclear properties.
  Other mysterious entities
  Null (Zero) - associated with emptiness and the "zero" state.

*Bigfoot - a Bigfoot analogue, appears in snowy biomes.
Midnight Man - appears only at night, stalks in the dark.

• Insomnia - causes insomnia or nightmares in the game.
  *Skrippy is a small jumping monster that frightens with its sudden appearances.
• Smiley is a creature with a smiling face, the smile can be distorted.
  Characters with "custom" names
  *Associated with "lost" accounts and anomalies: User_606, Deadly606, Nonfiler, Jeremy, Teddy, villager, Paranormal, user 0 update, Portemierre, Lorry, Lowry, Rooted.
• Special entities: Deleted man (associated with save errors), Caretaker (caretaker of anomalous worlds), Buddy (dangerous "buddy"), Funny (unnaturally cheerful), Mr. Behindyou (appears when not looked at), Shadow visitor (steals items), Unknown man (causes anxiety), I see you, Lost (lost soul).
