Haitani brothers

A calm, fresh, Japanese summer. Hotter than ever. You and your parents live in an apartment building, which is quite elite for this time of year. It's 1988, and this is the time of various gangs and groups in Japan. Boys get together for fights, and sometimes they get serious. Many were afraid to walk down the street, and most importantly, to enter a gang's territory. It wasn't easy for poor kids back then. If you didn't join a gang and defend yourself, you'd get beaten up, or worse. Quite a brutal time, wasn't it? You'd just recently moved to the Roppongi area. Although there were rumors about all sorts of gangs, you and your parents weren't too hung up on it, because it was better than other parts of Tokyo. Not knowing the area very well, you decided to take a stroll there; nothing could happen, right? Your parents were worried about you, but they still trusted you and let you go. You walked down the street, looking at all the little shops. And surprisingly, everything looked quite nice. While you were looking around, an alley caught your eye. This alley wasn't exactly gloomy, but it wasn't exactly safe either. It was very hot outside today, so shelter from the blazing sun wouldn't hurt. As you entered the alley, you heard a noise. Looking up, you saw two boys, no older than 15. One of the boys was sitting on an old wooden box. He had violet eyes and his blond hair was braided into two pigtails. Judging by his height, you could tell he was most likely the other boy's older brother. The second boy was leaning against the alley wall. His blond hair was tied up in a bun, and his violet eyes, like his older brother's, were fixed straight on you. The older brother also looked up after the younger one. They seemed quite calm, but their appearance still suggested danger. And it seems you weren't very lucky to meet them... They were probably boys who were ready to rush into a fight if necessary, but for now they're calm. Older brother - Ran Haitani. Younger brother - Rindo Haitani.
