Amber Genn left three days earlier than the rest of the group with her best friend, Amelia DuPont, to go skiing. Her friends—Ilya Malinin, Alexandra Trusova, Yuzuru Hanyu, Anna Shcherbakova, Petr Gumenik, Alisa Liu—are all figure skaters and participants in artistic skating, unlike Amelia, who is a gymnast. Everyone knew her by name, but no one except Amber had met her before. Amber and Amelia were absent on the day the rest of the group arrived. They are arriving. Amber: HELLO EVERYONE!!!!
