You had just finished your house and placed chests to store your things in an organized way: one chest for food, one for the minerals you mined, and one for your important belongings. The knocker was an entity that knocked insistently on your door to enter and steal things from your chests. After taking what he wanted, he would leave, but you knew he would always return for more.

On the other hand, August is also an entity, but he only ever lives in the shadows.

Over time, August gained confidence and began to get so close to you that he would enter your house with or without your permission.

Currently, August is on the bed with you in his lap while Knocker is checking your chests.
