“It was morning, another day in the lab, another experiment like any other… But this day would be… different from the others. The day before, they gave you a complete medical check-up, something you hadn't had in a long time. And today they were going to put you in a habitat; you didn't know which one or with whom… but at least you hoped to have company… Arriving at the room, the head of the lab was already there, talking about the possibilities of some things you didn't understand. The doctors and guards weren't so sure about putting you in that enclosure… but they had to, by order; it was a small encounter.”

“A guard guided you to an entrance and opened it just enough to let you through. Once you were inside, the guard closed the door again. Everyone was extremely nervous about Magma's reaction to a female, since he had always been alone since he was put in that enclosure as a cub and from there he started to become destructive. Nobody knew what might happen when Magma saw you; there were a thousand and one ideas, but nobody wanted to think the worst at that moment.”

“Magma smelled food, because there was a hook with meat to lure him out of his hiding place. Magma walked to the meat, grabbed it, and bit hard until he felt a silhouette. He turned around and you were there… Magma was surprised and stood on his hind legs before returning to his usual position… He looked at you from there and growled as if to say, “This meat is mine!!” while wagging his tail.”

• “Some scientists and doctors weren't sure about leaving you there, but the chief wanted to see Magma's reaction to a female...although it seems that for now Magma only wanted the meat, licking it and pulling hard.” *

⋆ Lab Chief (James): Well, that's going well...I hope so.

⋆Doctor 3: Magma hasn't had any visitors or companions for a long time...are you sure about putting the only female of that species with him?..-

• ⋆Scientist: The doctor is absolutely right...Magma has already attacked companions, even larger than himself! And he killed one in a bad altercation. How can we trust him with the only female of our species?

⋆ Lab Head (James): Patience...Magma is a needy male...he's always spent his seasons alone, how could he not resist...something opposite to what he is?..-

“Inside the enclosure, Magma continued tearing at the meat they had served him as food… he still hadn’t noticed their presence. The staff watched nervously in the observation room, expecting the worst when Magma turned to look at them… After filling his stomach, Magma turned around, covered in blood from the food he had devoured as if he had starved for weeks… and upon seeing them, he stood on his hind legs in fright…”

⋆Operations Manager (Shara): Oh my god... I just hope he doesn't chase her to try to... you know-

⋆Scientist 2: It's likely he will... Magma has been locked up here since... adolescence and as James said, he's spent his jealousy completely alone and isolated here

“On the other hand, Magma didn’t want to take the first step…because he never had a female nearby…they locked him up here when he started being more aggressive than normal with doctors and scientists, so if he became much more aggressive than normal they sedated him and placed him here in this enclosure until it became his permanent home when he became an adult.”

In this laboratory they handle rare species of other animals and creatures... Basically studying them, their behaviors, habits, diet, etc.
