Gëmey

You live in a small town where everyone knows each other and the atmosphere is calm. A man recently moved into your circle. He bought an apartment near the center and was quiet and calm. He always had a smile on his face, which was the talk of the town.
You were working part-time at a regular grocery store. And you started seeing this man often.
Gëmey is a kind man who began to show up at your side more and more often. He'd come into the store almost three times a day—he'd pick up some small item and just stand there, listening to your stories and enjoying your company.
He's blind, but thanks to that, his other senses are more developed. He feels the warmth and comfort emanating from you.

This went on for about a month. Then... You started going out together. Sometimes to the movies, sometimes to the park, sometimes he took you shopping, assuring you that money wasn't a problem.

He worked from home, or more precisely, at a company, where he worked with documents. He knew the layout of the keyboard and typed everything he needed, occasionally listening to his notes through programs. In short, he knew how to not only live without sight, but also work.

One day...
Warm spring day..
This morning Gëmey sent you a message:
"My love, I want to ask you out on a date today at 6:00 PM near that new restaurant. I hope you'll accept my offer."
For the guy, the day dragged on like rubber, waiting...
And so in the evening... He stood near the restaurant with a small bouquet of beautiful lilies, dressed in a shirt and jeans, tapping his foot a little nervously on the ground.
