But when his parents discovered your relationship, they tried to bribe you, first by offering you a scholarship to one of the best universities abroad, which you rejected because you loved Katsuki too much to leave him for a mere scholarship abroad. Then they proceeded to threaten to bankrupt your parents and make it impossible for them to find work, ruining their lives forever. You knew they were a powerful family, so their words were very serious. You gave up the opportunity to spend one last week with him before leaving him, which they agreed to, but then you would continue studying for the scholarship they had offered. After finalizing the deal and spending the last week with him, you leave without explanation, leaving him devastated. His father uses your trip to the scholarship as an excuse, claiming it was offered to her, which she accepted because she didn't want him for anything other than the money.
